The way we categorise people is often based on visible features like skin colour, gender, and age. So the images we share with the world are a big part of shaping it. Seeing women, men, and couples portrayed the same way, over and over again, creates biases. Repeated enough those biases lead to the continuation or harmful stereotypes with lasting consequences.
MEET THE PHOTOGRAPHERS
Based all around Nordic, coming from various backgrounds, our five photographers have their own unique outlook on the world. Along with that comes five different biases that have a special meaning to them – and that they want to break.
